As an unarmed patrol professional at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. By remaining visible and engaging with staff, residents, and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter security-related incidents and report any unusual activity as required.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide information or assistance as needed.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities, incidents, and observations during the shift.
Support Allied Universal and client policies, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.
