About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrols in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
  • Support healthcare staff by observing and reporting any security-related concerns within the location.
