Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrols in Detroit, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding people to appropriate exits and coordinating with first responders when necessary.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Support a welcoming and secure environment by being visible and approachable while performing patrol duties.
