You will monitor assigned areas, respond to reports, document activity, and help maintain an orderly environment. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and incident reporting practices.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior corridors, lobbies, administrative areas, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, badge checkpoints, and visitor processes; verify authorization, issue visitor credentials when required, and direct individuals to appropriate locations within the facility.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical facility incidents, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Complete timely, accurate documentation of patrols, access activity, and incidents using required logs and/or reporting systems; communicate updates to supervisors and oncoming officers.
