As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. By conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and observe the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
Assist with crowd control and visitor management as needed within the healthcare setting.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills by following established procedures.
