As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment while respecting privacy and procedures.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of all activities, observations, and/or incidents during each shift.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site-specific guidelines while performing assigned duties.
