Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while conducting routine patrols. You will remain visible to support a positive atmosphere and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while embodying Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.
  • Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
