As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities, allowing you to make a positive impact while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and caring culture.

Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and/or unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with healthcare facility guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal supervision.
