About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Pahrump, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
Support Allied Universal and healthcare facility staff during emergencies, drills, and other security-related activities as required.
