As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors with calm professionalism, communicate clearly, and document observations. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or applicable security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to appropriate medical staff and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, waiting rooms, and parking areas, as well as exterior perimeter checks to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
