Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with visitors, staff, and patients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and interacting with visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
Support emergency response protocols by providing guidance and assisting with evacuations or other procedures when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
