As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a positive atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious activity, in accordance with site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas.
Collaborate with facility staff and first responders as needed to support security-related and emergency response efforts.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site management.
