About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Guard in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual activity or situations that may require intervention and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of location-specific rules and regulations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to support a secure and welcoming environment.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required.
