As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This is a driving post, requiring you to meet AU driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
Collaborate with facility personnel and emergency responders to support the overall security-related operations of the location.
