As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role involves delivering outstanding customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and assist with entry control to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or security-related concerns according to site requirements.
Remain alert and attentive to the unique needs and challenges of a healthcare location while performing assigned duties.
