About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driving Role in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate between areas as needed. You'll provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding incidents, concerns, and daily activities.
Assist visitors and employees with directions, access, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures to support the security-related needs of a financial institution environment.
