About The Position
As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driving in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a financial institution location. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within financial institution locations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity and support the secure operation of financial institution operations.
- Document and report any observations, incidents, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with on-site staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment within the financial institution setting.
- Remain alert and aware of surroundings during all assigned patrols and security-related tasks.
