About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required to support the security-related needs of the location.
Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
