As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements, maintaining clear and accurate records.
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards or unusual situations and report them promptly to the appropriate personnel.
