Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies or incidents as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
