As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all. This primarily driving post involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing the well-being of individuals at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or breaches of site-specific policies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or authorization as required by site-specific policies.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
