As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service while responding to security-related needs. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and enhance security-related presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or access to restricted areas.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist medical staff and visitors by providing directions and information as needed, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergency situations.
