Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Lobby in Morristown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and customer service.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location by verifying identification and visitor credentials.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters, including visitor management and access control.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors, addressing questions and/or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Support emergency response activities and assist with security-related procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.
