As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and excellent communication skills will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires driving responsibilities as you support our caring culture and commitment to teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
Collaborate with staff and local authorities as required to address security-related matters and support the healthcare environment.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.
