As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare location's needs.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Report and document all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control and visitor management, following healthcare facility guidelines.
Support staff, patients, and visitors by providing information and/or assistance as needed in a professional manner.
