About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch Full-Time in New Brunswick, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate communication for security-related incidents and activities within the healthcare location.
  • Dispatch security personnel to appropriate areas in response to incidents, emergencies, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of all dispatch activities and communications.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support to security and/or medical teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the facility.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or patients in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular and/or random checks via surveillance systems or communication channels to monitor activity throughout the location.
