As a Dispatch Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using dispatch protocols specific to the healthcare environment.
Monitor and coordinate communications between on-site personnel and external responders to help to deter disruptions within the location.
Document and report all incidents, calls, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Maintain awareness of access points and coordinate entry and exit logistics for staff, visitors, and vendors as needed.
Support regular and random patrols by communicating with patrolling personnel and relaying important information to relevant parties.
Utilize communication systems to relay information, instructions, and updates to on-site staff and management.
Assist with implementing emergency procedures and protocols, including coordinating responses to alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical events within the healthcare location.
