As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities throughout the healthcare location.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls and requests for assistance, prioritizing and dispatching security personnel as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of incidents, communications, and security-related events.
  • Communicate and collaborate with on-site security personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and respond to emergencies.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by communicating information about security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating communication between various teams and first responders when appropriate.
