As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications using dispatch systems to support security-related operations at the healthcare location.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations, providing clear and calm communication to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain records of all calls, incidents, and activities as part of site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring and authorizing entry and/or exit of individuals and vehicles in accordance with site policies.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from staff, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
  • Relay important information to Allied Universal security-related personnel and/or site management as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by initiating notifications and facilitating communication between on-site teams and external responders.
