About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities include managing communication, responding promptly to incidents, and providing excellent customer service, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a caring approach.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications at the healthcare location, including phone calls, radio transmissions, and other dispatch requests.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to incidents and situations as they arise, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities occurring during the shift.
  • Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points, and providing guidance to visitors and staff as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying necessary information to appropriate parties.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing questions and offering assistance related to site policies and procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by facilitating clear communication and timely response to security-related concerns and emergencies.
