Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to designated areas within the healthcare location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out site-specific policies and procedures to help protect property and individuals within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences as observed during shifts.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency personnel during incidents and/or drills as required.
