As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures designed to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity within the food and beverage environment.
Provide customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing individuals as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities related to access control and/or site operations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report on conditions, as assigned by Allied Universal and site management.
