About The Position

As a Security Officer - Grounds Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, use a computer or tablet as needed, and provide strong customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production or service areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and damage.
  • Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification and/or appointments as required, directing visitors to the proper location, and documenting entries and exits.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site contacts and/or local responders when needed, and support shift transitions with clear pass-down information.
