Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Officer, you will conduct unarmed patrols at a government location, primarily driving to monitor assigned areas and help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe, report, and document any unusual occurrences, hazards, or potential security-related risks encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
