Join Allied Universal at a government location supporting an access control post where you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and control entry points. You will conduct routine rounds of assigned areas, document security-related activity, respond to requests with clear communication, and use a computer and/or tablet for reporting. Requirements

Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security-related experience OR a college degree.
Be 21+ years of age.
Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
Have customer service experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destination in accordance with post orders.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems, and report irregular activity or maintenance issues through the established chain of communication.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with on-site personnel, and contacting emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify hazards or unauthorized access points.
