About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Front Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with relevant personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk and reporting any unusual or suspicious behavior to the appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare incident reports as necessary for the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment.
