As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support travelers and staff with clear communication, respond to concerns, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and travelers by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and direct individuals to the appropriate checkpoint, office, or public area.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with airport operations and local public agencies as directed.
Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or dispatch.
