As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol a government location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle while communicating professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the government location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with site access and general inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
