As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol a government location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle while communicating professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the government location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with site access and general inquiries in a courteous manner.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment.
