As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or badges, manage visitor authorization, and document deliveries and contractor access in accordance with site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with onsite contacts and public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and security-related activities; maintain logs and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.
