Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Alarm Patrol Driver in Suffolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in supporting security-related operations at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will primarily be on the move, helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local staff to address security-related concerns.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements, maintaining clear and accurate records.
