You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, validating credentials, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to approved areas.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic for the industrial location, including coordinating delivery and pickup access through established check-in and check-out processes.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify hazards and/or policy concerns.
