As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges and entry logs, and monitor activity at key access points. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help to deter unauthorized access while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to designated check-in areas.
• Screen and authorize vehicle traffic at gates and docks by validating appointments, shipping and receiving paperwork, and directing deliveries and pickups to assigned lanes and/or staging areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and to identify unusual conditions.
