As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy retail and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet associates and visitors, and support orderly deliveries and foot traffic. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry logs, and directing visitors to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor vehicle and delivery access by checking driver documentation, confirming appointments, coordinating dock or receiving entry as directed, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting events per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
