Requirements

Using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Assist with security-related access control at designated entry and exit points within the retail location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
Monitor access points and check credentials to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with retail staff to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
