As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, greet employees, drivers, and visitors, verify credentials, and maintain clear logs. You will conduct routine rounds near docks and staging areas, monitor cameras and alarm panels for security-related concerns, and communicate issues promptly. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, scanning credentials, issuing temporary badges, and directing visitors and drivers to designated areas.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by managing check-in and check-out logs, monitoring yard flow, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and access questions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with site response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
