As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and complete routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will remain visible, respond to requests, and document observations while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
X‐ray screening experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing drivers, contractors, and employees to appropriate check-in processes.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documenting, and communicating with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as required.
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow at gates, docks, and yard areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or restricted area entry while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
