About The Position

As a Security Officer Gate Access in CLARKSVILLE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access points as needed, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, equipment-related concerns, and trespassing or suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking lots, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site area.
Monitor access control points, check identification and/or visitor credentials, manage sign-in procedures, and help to maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian flow at entrances and loading areas.
Complete detailed reports on daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, dispatch, and/or local responders as needed.
