As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential issues, report concerns, and/or help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and posted requirements.
• Support incident reporting and routine operations by maintaining accurate activity logs, observing site conditions, and communicating security-related information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
