About The Position
As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Detail in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. Requirements
- Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, retail corridors, loading and service areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic, reporting suspicious activity, property damage, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear communication, basic scene control, and timely notifications to first responders when needed.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and customer service interactions using required systems, and support special events and peak traffic periods as directed.
