About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Chester, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting using computer and/or tablet tools. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, behavioral disturbances, and fire alarms, and coordinate with clinical staff and local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and report observations per post orders.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, preserve incident details, and support investigations and/or compliance requirements while maintaining confidentiality of patient and facility information.
